Unfortunately in this day and age, it is impossible to get all the nutrients we need from our diet alone and incorporating naturopathic advice, dietary changes and supplments into your routine is often required especially during pregnancy.
Many women think taking a pregnancy supplement with extra folate is all they need to do but its often not as simple as this. The baby will take everything is needs from its mother who simply needs to survive on whatever is left.
A woman’s body changes dramatically throughout pregnancy, as do her nutritional needs which means it’s important that she receives regular care so that supplements can be tailored throughout the pregnancy, and specific advice can be given at different stages.

What will a treatment be like?
Sessions are held in a relaxed and comfortable setting where you will be treated with respect and compassion. You will spend time asking and answering questions regarding your symptoms and medical history. Some physical checks may be carried out in the clinic, such as taking blood pressure, tongue, iris and urine analysis.
Secondly; it may be recommended that further laboratory tests are carried out on the function and pathology of your body. I.e. blood tests, allergy testing, stool examination, hair analysis etc. This is only recommended if deemed necessary to gain an overall picture of your health. Furthermore please bring any medical test results you may already have obtained from your GP to your naturopathic consultation and any medicines and natural remedies that you’re currently taking.
