I am very happy to let you know that Brad and I welcomed William James into the world at 5.30am on Sunday 4 December!

I started getting irregular and fairly mild surges on Saturday morning but by midnight on Saturday they were very intense so we decided to head to the hospital. We arrived at about 1am (Sunday) and at 5.30am William joined us.

I succeeded in having a totally natural birth with no pain relief and no tearing. William weighed 6lbs and was 46cm long. He is a very placid baby so far, which we attribute to the HypnoBirthing techniques and our happy, positive approach to the whole pregnancy.
